• The Nature of Fire – ensuring your team is familiar with your current fire safety procedure
• Understanding what causes Fires – we will go through how fires start, outline common causes of fires and explain the science behind what stops a fire. Then, we will go through how fires spread, and the best practices for limiting, tackling and successfully preventing a small fire from expanding
• How to Prevent a Fire – sharing key preventative measures, which your team can use throughout the office, both now and into the future
• How to use a Fire Extinguisher – demonstrating how to use a fire extinguisher
• Classes of Fire & Fire Extinguisher Types – listing the six types of fire extinguishers and explaining which classes of fire they should be used for
• The Role and Responsibilities of a Fire Marshal – finally, we will outline the core duties of a fire marshal. We will help your appointed fire marshal(s) to understand their role, guide them through the appropriate fire safety training, and ensure they feel fully confident to follow these protocols in practice
